What are your fees?I charge a standard rate of $200 for a one hour session (50 minute session with 10 minutes for record keeping). Family sessions (2 or more people) are billed at $250 for a one hour session. I also offer 90 minute sessions for individuals or families for $300 (80 minute session with 10 minutes for record keeping).
-
What payment methods can I use?At this time I am able to take e-transfer, cheque, cash, and credit card.
-
Will my insurance cover sessions? Each insurance company is different. Many companies cover Clinical Social Work services. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance provider to see if they cover these services. I will provide you with a receipt at the end of each session that you can submit for reimbursement. This is usually not a difficult or complicated process.
-
Do you offer both in person and virtual sessions?I am able to offer in person sessions as well as virtual sessions over Zoom. This allows for the changing of session format if you or someone in your family is required to isolate due to COVID 19 symptoms.
-
What is your cancellation policy? If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, I ask you to inform me with at least 48 hours notice prior to scheduled appointment time. If you or a family member are experiencing Covid 19 symptoms the appointment may be changed from in-person to virtual. Unless excused due to circumstances beyond your control (i.e. extreme weather, severe illness, an emergency, etc.) late cancellations (less than 48 hours) will be charged $100 and no shows/missed appointments will be charged the full $200 fee.
-
How many sessions should I expect? The number of session you may need will depend on your unique situation. You can expect me to complete a comprehensive mental health assessment when we begin working together and then together we will discuss a treatment plan including proposed clinical intervention and timeline.
